What Is Blue Light?
Blue wavelength light is the most energetic part of visible light. Our circadian rhythm – the body’s neurological sleep-and-wake signaling system – is driven by intensity of blue light entering our eyes. Before LEDs and LCDs, it was only produced by the sun. Now, most homes stream blue light all evening from our white and yellow LEDs lights.

Blue Light Bennifits:
- triggers cortisol and other energizing hormones
- boosts attention, cognition, and mood
- antidepressant
Harmful
Blue light at night is harmful, fighting our circadian rhythm by suppressing melatonin and other sleep hormones.
